Helping teachers raise their level of gender fairness 

The Gender4STEM Teaching Assistant (GTA) a platform dedicated to secondary education teachers, raising their awareness on (conscious and unconscious) behavioral gender biases, but above all, providing teachers with concrete tools and methods for more gender fair practices.

With GTA, teachers can self-assess how gender-aware their teaching practices are and access recommended methods to help them counter gender stereotypes.

These methods cover the whole range of teachers activities: preparation of their classes, teaching, assessment, orientation and awareness raising. The materials can be videos of female role models in STEM, guidelines for hands on activities, tips, toolkits, quiz… and offer piece of advice to give girls more interest in STEM.
